Rotator Control

There are many commercial rotator control packages on the market. But most only work for 1 type of Rotator.

My personal favorite control package is HamLib. It is not a GUI package... it is a terminal command package - but it provides the bases from which a software developer can add their own interface.

The program is called rotctl, and there is a networked version called rotctld which makes remote controlling your antenna controller very simple indeed.

The cost of most commercial Controllers is horrific - it is far easier to build your own.
